Information

The controlled ideal leaking closing electrical switch is built in bondgraphic technology from a bond graph Sw2 element, a 1-junction, and three bonds. In addition, an effort detector senses the potential of the control input. If that signal is smaller than a threshold, called level, the switch is open. Otherwise, it is closed. This element is an idealized version of a transistor switch.

A-causal bonds must mostly be used here, because the causality depends on the embedding of the switch in its environment. A leaking switch has been used to ensure that the switch will not lead to a division by zero in either switch position, irrespective of the circuit topology.

Parameters:

level: Potential threshold for switch control (default value = 0.5 Volt)

Ron: Leakage resistance in on state (default value = 1e-5 Ohm)

Goff: Leakage conductance in off state (default value = 1e-5 Mho)
