Flow splitter
The flow splitter element is placed between a Level at its
inflow and Rates at its two outflows. It is used to model
the situation where a company sells the same product from different
consumers. The outgoing flows may be of different magnitude, but
they describe the same product. The incoming flow is the sum of the
two outgoing flows. The enthalpies are the same in all three
branches.
This model can also be used together with a Level to
model a storage with more than two outflows, as:
