Information

We made use of the wrapping technique to re-implement large portions of the standard electrical analog library of Modelica using bond graph technology. These models have the same touch and feel as the corresponding models contained in the standard library. They are interchangeable and combinable in an arbitrary fashion.

The new electrical analog library is a subset of the standard library, because not all elements have been recoded yet. However, it is also a superset, because additional elements have been provided in some places.

Especially, the new library contains ModelicaSpice, a Spice-style implementation of semiconductor models, including the four classes of bipolar transistors (the laterally and vertically diffused NPN and PNP transistors with all of the technological parameters that Spice offers), the two classes of MOSFETs (NMOS and PMOS), the two classes of JFETs (NJF and PJF), and an accurate model of diodes. Just as in Spice, each of these models contains several alternative descriptions that can be selected by choosing the appropriate modeling level.
