Information

Cimetidine is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist used to reduce stomach acid production. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and conditions of excessive gastric acid secretion such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
