Leriglitazone is a selective peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARĪ³) agonist. It is under development primarily for the treatment of X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD) and other central nervous system disorders associated with neuroinflammation and metabolic dysfunction. As of June 2024, it is not yet approved for clinical use.
