Information

A fixed-dose combination medication containing furosemide, a loop diuretic used to decrease fluid retention (edema) and treat hypertension, and potassium chloride, included to prevent hypokalemia secondary to furosemide-induced potassium loss. This drug is approved and in use for these indications.
