Timolol is a non-selective beta-adrenergic antagonist (beta-blocker) used primarily to treat hypertension, angina pectoris, and in ophthalmic form for increased intraocular pressure in glaucoma. It is approved for clinical use and available in systemic and ophthalmic formulations.
