Zofenopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used for treatment of hypertension and heart failure. It is a prodrug hydrolyzed to its active form, zofenoprilat. Zofenopril has been approved for clinical use in several countries, primarily in Europe.
