Tolmetin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formerly used for the treatment of pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Due to safety concerns, including gastrointestinal and cardiovascular risk, tolmetin is no longer widely used or approved in many countries today.
