Dimethyltubocurarine is a neuromuscular blocking agent of the isoquinoline class, historically used as a muscle relaxant during surgical anesthesia and mechanical ventilation. It acts as a non-depolarizing blocker at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular junction.
