Isoprenaline (also known as isoproterenol) is a non-selective beta-adrenergic agonist used historically for the treatment of bradycardia, heart block, and sometimes asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) due to its bronchodilator and cardiac stimulant effects.
