Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching. It is commonly used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. Cetirizine is approved and widely used today.
