This test model demonstrate four possible ways of setting the friction coefficient for the PressDrop model.
- The friction factor coefficient can be specified directly, by setting FFtype=0 and the appropriate value to Kf.
- The friction factor needed to obtain certain conditions can be set by initial equations. In this case, FFtype=0, and Kf=Kf_unknown, with Kf_unknown having a fixed=false attribute. The latter parameter is then determined by an initial equation (e.g. by assigning the initial mass flow rate).
- The friction factor can be specified by setting FFtype=1, and then by assigning the nominal pressure drop dpnom corresponding to the nominal flow rate wnom and to the nominal density rhonom.
- The pressure drop can be specified as a given multiple of the kinetic pressure, by setting FFtype=2 and assigning the multiplicative coefficient K.
