The model contains models for a solarthermal panel, a stratified storage tank, a gas boiler and a controller for the operation of the solar thermal panel. Different control modes can be selected.
No fluid flow into the storage tank is considered, therefore the energy input into each layer into the storage tank is defined by energy balances.
