1. Purpose of model

This model illustrates possible applications of the library to model district heating grids. It shows a heat producing unit at the left, a heat consumer at the right and the supply and return lines for distribution.

In this example, the pumps at the return line are pressure controlled and the mass flow is assumed to be constant.

The supply temperature is controlled by the heat input, which is defined by the feed forward controller.
