The substrate node is an electrical node, but we decided to paint it green so that the substrate connections wouldn't clutter up the circuit diagram unnecessarily.
The heating port may remain unconnected, in which case the device is being simulated at a constant temperature of Tnom.
The substrate port may remain unconnected, in which case the substrate is assumed to be at a fixed potential of VSUB.
