Interior walls have the same structure as exterior walls, i.e., a boundary convection layer on one side, followed by three conduction layers inside the wall, followed by another boundary convection layer on the other side.

However, there is no solar radiation to be taken into account for interior walls. Thus, the inerior wall model is considerably simpler than the exterior wall model.
