Solar radiation through glass
This block computes the solar radiation available to any
sun-exposed glass surface on the basis of the position of the sun
in the sky and the relative angle at which the exposed surface
faces the sun. Glass windows require a special model, because some
of the incoming radiation is directly transmitted through the
glass.
The model is fairly complex. It calculates not only the direct
radiation from the sun, but also the diffuse radiation received
through the atmosphere.
