The window model has an outside convection layer, but no conduction layers, as the glass is considered thin and homogeneous. It would have been possible (and probably meaningful!), to provide an inside convection layer as well, but the student didn't do so. Thus, the glass doesn't have its own temperature. The 0-junction on the inside of the convection layer simply represents the temperature of the room behind the window.
The solar input is similar to the solar input used in the exterior wall model, except that the general solar radiation model was replaced here by the solar radiation through glass model.
