Demonstration of different blood gases solubility in erythrocytes and in plasma. The difference is governed by various amount of other substances in the solution.

Please note, that the total content of CO2 and O2 in blood plasma and erythrocytes must be determined by including bicarbonate and hemoglobin connected amounts.
