Information

This package includes the implementation of an opto-electrical communication system [1]. The system has been implemented as a hybrid model: the electrical part as a continuous-time model and the optical part as a discrete-event model. The communication between both parts is performed using the interfaces included in DEVSLib.

The transmitter is composed by:

The receiver is composed by;

Simulation

The System model implements the basic interfaces where the Driver and the TIA does not modify the electrical current.
The System2 model includes electrical circuits for the Driver and the TIA, as described in [2].

Both models include two variables to facilitate the observation of the simulation results.
