The frictional loss considered is just that of the condensation phase, calculated according to Muller-Steinhagen and Heck, because, taking into account the low accuracy of this calculation, it makes nosense to further complicate the calculations in order to introduce a much lower frictional loss, as it is that of the subcooling phase.
The subcooling heat transfer coefficient is calculated only for vertical pipes. For horizontal pipes it is quite low, due to the small wetted surface, and depends on inclination.
