Information

This example is composed by the base IEEE (WSCC) 9-bus 3-machine system but with a STATCOM connected to bus 8. The system undergoes a three-phase-to-ground fault at 3s, lasting for 100ms. Simulate the system for 20 seconds.

Variables of interest are

• Bus9.v

Compare the results with the ones obtained when simulating IEEE_9_Buses.
