Information

Allows single-phase switching.

'closed' and 'open' determine the mechanical switch-position.
Electrically the switch is on if it is 'closed', whereas it is switched off, if it is mechanically 'open' and the corresponding phase-current crosses zero.

Contains no plasma-arc, in contrast to Breaker.

Note: currently not suitable for steady-state simulation. In this case use ForcedSwitch.
