· Intermediate models, for one or two phases flow, when there is not enough exchanger details for the calculation of the global heat transfer coefficient. These models assume that one of the streams is inside tubes, and its properties are calculated from a defined medium.
· Detailed models with enough details for the calculation of the global heat exchange coefficient. The calculation of the physical properties for both fluids is done using the defined mediums.
